She is survived by one son, Gary Collins and several nieces and nephews..
She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-eight years, J.R. Collins.
She and J.R. Collins were faithful to the Red Cross for over Twenty-five years and took much pride in the work they did for the cause.
She was amazing Christian who Ministered to people daily through the way she lived her life and the way she treated others. She was an inspiration and a true soldier for the army of the Lord.
She was a long time member if Trinity United Methodist Church where she made many life long friends.
Visitation will be at John Ridout's Elmwood Chapel Monday, July 30 at 1 pm with graveside service at Elmwood Cemetery, with Bobby Scales of Trinity United Methodist Church and Gary Creel of Vitas Hospice Care will be officiating over the services.
