Born November 20, 1892 in Johnson County, she was a daughter of the late Garfield and Hannah Hough Collins.
She had been a resident of Thealka for the past 20 years, and was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.
Her husband,Willie Arms,survives.
Also surviving are two sons,Sanford and George, both of Thealka:four daughters, Mrs.Virgie Mae Wheeler of Flemingsburg, Mrs.Dora Lee Clark of West Van Lear,and Mrs.Iva Jean Castle and Mrs.Joyce Taylor both Thealka, a brother,Add Collins of Collista, and four sisters, Mrs.Mary Jane Centers of Collista, Mrs.Goldie Centers, Denver, Mrs. Dollie Arms of East Point, and Mrs.Nettie Reed of Detroit,Michigan.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 13, at 2 p.m. in the Thealka Free Will Baptist Church with Rev.Don Fraley officiating.Burial took place in the family cemetery at Thealka under direction of the Jones- Preston Funeral Home.
