She was born on Friday, 25 December 1970 in Van Nuys, California.
As a child in 1976 she moved to Burney California and attended Elementary school there and in 1985 Shawna attended Summerville High School.
She married Bill Hutchins in 1989 and had her first child Laney Breann Hutchins in 1990.
Shawna married Michael "Steven" Baker on Sunday, 29 August 1993 and again on Sunday, 30 March 2014.
In February of 2010 she purchased a horse ranch in Jamestown naming it The Triple L Ranch after her three children Laney, Logan and Lance.
In 2014 Shawna achieved 4th place at the AQHA World show in Oklahoma City in the halter class for three year old stallions. She also won the all around halter stallion award.
In 2015 she had already earned enough points to attend the AQHA Congress in Columbus, Ohio and the AQHA World Show in Oklahoma City.
She loved to give back to her community fully supporting the Mother Lode Fair Junior Livestock Auction and the National Wild Turkey Federation benefit dinner each year.
Mrs. Baker is survived by her parents, John Collins and Nina Collins, husband, Michael "Steven" Baker, her three children, Laney Breann Hutchins, Michael "Logan" Baker and Lance Garrett Baker, her brothers, Travis Collins and Cody Collins.
