Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, on Friday, March 7th, in Coffelt's Funeral Chapel. Pastor Brian Noble, Assembly of God Church, will officiate, with interment in Pinecrest Memorial Park.
Virginia was born in Idaho Falls, ID on January 1, 1911 and attended school there. She graduated from high school in Bridgeport, NE; She lived in Bridgeport, NE; Bell Fouche, SD; and Alliance, NE working for Northwest Bell. In 1942 she worked at Farragut Naval Base as a telephone operator, and later as a long distance operator for AT and T.
On Jan. 1, 1944 she married Percy Bartlett in Libby, MT and they made their home in Sandpoint, ID. She also worked as a census taker and as a volunteer for the March of Dimes.
She was a member of the Assembly of God Church and was a long time Sunday school Teacher. She served as President and Sect/Treasurer for the Women's Ministries of the Church. She enjoyed her church, reading, crossword puzzles, crocheting, and knitting.
Her son Neal Bartlett of Rockford, IL, 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews survive her.
Her parents, her husband Percy, 2 brothers Warren and Beryl, 2 sister's Margery and Norma preceded her in death.
