World War I veteran, he served in the Army, as a private in 21st Co. F. S. 155th Depot Brigade in 1918, and was stationed in Elmira, Chemung, NY. Son of Finita and Paolo "Paul" Colosimo. Brother of Torenza (Tanto) Colosimo, buried in this same cemetery, Michele (Michael) Colosimo also buried in this cemetery, Gaspare (Casper) Colosimo, Carmine Colosimo and Milana Colosimo Caligiuri. Two of the brothers, Michael and Casper, came to the U.S., with their father, into New York, NY, May 4, 1896, the rest of the family arrived later. Antonio died from skull fractures received when he was struck by a car at Carson St. and Corliss Tunnel. He was buried in Calvary Jan 29, 1931. He was married, his wife's name was Christina, she was born in Italy, he came to the U.S., originally, into NY on 27 May 1906, on the ship Weimar. He made a trip back to Italy, returning on 23rd Oct 1926, on the ship Conte Rosso, Christina did not accompany him. As he had already been in the U.S., and served in WWI, he must have taken Christina back to Italy on this trip as she is listed as his closest relative in the old country, it does not look like she returned to the U.S.
