Des Moines
Fina, FiFi or Josie to most, was born March 7, 1926 and left us June 28, 2013. She was a proud member of the Southside Italian-American community, St. Anthony's Church and the Colosimo and Soda clans. She and her family were well known around town as part of the old City Market and Thrifty Wise Grocery store on Hubbell. Those simple times of street cars, rumble seats, dance clubs and the Depression were perhaps the best days of her life.
She will be missed by all, especially by her husband, Joe Cardamon, daughter, Angela Cardamon and her many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. She was a sweet and loving person with a big smile for all she met. "Everybody loved Fina." Ciao Bella!!
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m., Monday, July 1 at St. Anthony Church with a Rosary Service at 9:30 a.m. at the church.
