WARREN - Anthony "Pat" P. Colosimo, 71, of Dar Valley Road, Bradford, passed away Tuesday (April 10, 2012) at UPMC Hamot in Erie.
Pat was born May 19, 1940, in Bradford, the son of Josephine Caserio Colosimo and the late John Colosimo.
He was a graduate of Bradford High School and joined the U.S. Army immediately following graduation.
Pat enjoyed sports, especially fishing, hunting and golfing, and was a member of St. Bernard Church.
He is survived by four children, Stephanie LaRusch of Iowa, Patriss Colosimo, Scott Colosimo and his wife, Sue, and Joe Colosimo and his wife, Heidi, all of Warren; a brother, Jack Colosimo and his wife, Sandy, of Bradford; a sister, Anita Monti of North Carolina; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Ann Sargent Colosimo on Dec. 16, 1995, whom he married in December 1964, in Limestone, N.Y.; and his grandson, Trace Allen Fitzgerald on May 27, 2003.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Jeff Ewing, pastor of the First Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery, Bradford.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Bradford Educational Foundation, c/o Colosimo Family Scholarship Fund, 300 Campus Drive, Bradford, PA 16701.
