Private services for Germany native
Annie M. Colosimo, 83, of Catawissa ended her pilgrimage in this life at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, in Geisinger Bloomsburg Health Care Center with her family by her side.
Born in Germany on Feb. 12, 1929, a daughter of the late Alexander and Amma Stupfner Hoefner, she came to the United States in 1948. She had been employed by Emenee Shirt Factory, Catawissa.
She was a member of Christ United Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of Catawissa VFW Post.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Carmen C. Colosimo, Aug. 8, 1978; her son, Herbert Colosimo Sr., March 2, 2003; five sisters and four brothers.
Annie will be remembered by three sons: Douglas Colosimo, Catawissa; Carmen Colosimo, Kentucky; Robert Colosimo and wife, Joyce, Numidia; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Judy Hinterliter, Catawissa; nieces and nephews.
"Always in our hearts."
Services are private. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Hillside Cemetery, Catawissa.
