DORIS LOUISE COLTMAN October 29, 1936 - April 14, 2008 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved Doris. She will be sadly missed by her husband Bob, mother Frieda Zelleweger, sons Mark (Rebecca), Fraser (Heather), and Greg (Tami), daughter Christie, grandchildren Chantelle, Christina, Kasie, Lindsay, Brianna, Jonathan, Julia, Jordan, Braydon, Timothy, Nicole, and Bennett, six great grandchildren, sisters Leola (Joe), Shirley, and Faith (Steven), brothers Larry (Cindy), Ted (Margaret), and Erwin (Wally). She was predeceased by her father Roy Hildebrandt and sons David and Timothy Peters. After many years of poor health and suffering our dearest Doris has passed peacefully into Heaven. One of Doris' favorite sayings was "Joy is not the absence of suffering but the Presence of the Lord." She now truly knows that Presence as she rests in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Visitation will take place in the Rosewood Room at the Kamloops Funeral Home on Friday, April 18, 2008 between 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. The Memorial Service for Doris will be held at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 2:00 pm, with Pastor Terry Sauder officiating. The family send their very special thanks to all the doctors and nurses in I.C.U. at Royal Inland Hospital and to Dr. Scott Montgomery. Donations in Doris' memory may be made to the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation, 311 Columbia St., Kamloops, BC V2C 2T1. Kamloops Funeral Home 285 Fortune Drive 554-2577 Condolences may be sent to the family from www.kamloopsfuneralhome.com
