Entered into eternal rest on the morning of October 21, 2001, Millie Coltrane Colson, widow of John Albert Colson. Residence Charleston, SC.

The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services in James Island Presbyterian Church Wednesday morning, October 24, 2001, at 10:30 o'clock.

Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call at J.HENRY STUHR, INC.,Downtown Chapel
between Six and Eight o'clock,Tuesday.

Mrs. Colson was born July 21, 1945, in Charleston, SC, a daughter of William Franklin Coltrane and Kathline Johnson Coltrane.

She was a graduate of Rivers High School and a member of James Island Presbyterian Church.

She was Vice President of the SC Association of the Deaf, National Board member of the National Association of the Deaf-Interpreter Section, Past President of SC Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, member of the Low Country Chapter of SC Association of the Deaf, Member of Children
of Deaf Adults, International.

She is survived by her mother, one daughter, Alisha Dawn Norris of Summerville, SC, one son, Edward Randolph Colson of Charleston, SC, two sisters, Libby C. Sandy of
Cincinnati, Ohio, Karin C. Burwinkel of Blanchester, Ohio, one brother,Bob Coltrane of Cincinnati, Ohio, five grandchildren, Joshua A. Colson, Alicia Ann Colson, Zachary M. Norris, Kayla M. Norris, and Miranda S. Colson.

She is predeceased by her son, John Albert Colson,
Jr.
