Nola Clorine Barger, age 75, died Tuesday, July 30, 1996 at her residence in Clarendon following a sudden illness.
She was born may 39, 1931 in Hugo, OK and was a Wellington resident before moving to Clarendon 41 years ago.
She married D.C. Beard on June 26, 1940 at Hollis, OK. He preceded her in death on January 5, 1955. She married Elwin Odell Barker on September 24, 1955 at Clovis, NM. He preceded her in death on May 13, 1973.
She had worked at local restaurants, the City Drug, Medical Center Nursing Home and was working as a private care provider. She was a member of the Clarendon Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Wayne Beard.
Survivors include three daughters, Beatrice Burleson of Clarendon, Roberta Monden of Stinnett, Melinda Miller of Clarendon; one step-daughter, Sue Dell Stone of Brownwood; one son, Clifford Beard of Grand Prairie; two step-sons, Clyde Barker of Stinnett, Tillmone E. Barker of Amarillo; 8 grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; and several step-great-grandchildren.
