Karen Conner Bethea went to join her Lord on April 2, 2016 passing peacefully with Bill by her side and family close by.

Karen was born March 24, 1942 to Truman Samuel Conner and Elizabeth Ann Turner.

She is survived by Sister Janabeth Hall (husband Jim), and Brother Truman Samuel of San Antonio. Husband Bill Bethea, sons Stephen Williams (Carol), Scott Russell and daughter Sally Elizabeth (Kevin Northrop), grandchildren Anna Grace, Daniel Luke, Autumn Lea, and Brook Elizabeth.

Karen truly loved her family, gardening, her dogs (Sophie and Phoebe), and the Texas Longhorns. Without a doubt her greatest love was the Lords. She was truly a disciple of her Lord Jesus Christ.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s fund or The Breast Cancer fund.

Visitation will be held at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 N. I-35 Georgetown, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at First Baptist Church, Hwy 29, Georgetown, Texas with Assistant Pastor David Griffin officiating. Interment will be in Ballinger, Texas.

The Family would like to give special thanks to all at Aria Memory Care, Metroplex Hospital in Killeen, Texas and our special family Life Group of First Baptist Church Georgetown.
