Mrs. Carter was born Sept. 16, 1927 in Huntington, to the late Audrey Drucilla (Thomas) and Robert Henry Conner. She died Tuesday, Aug. 10 in a Lufkin hospital. Mrs Carter was a retired spot welder for General Electric and for Reed Roller Bit. She was a Pentecostal. Mrs. Carter had resided in Huntington most of her life, and also lived in Houston for 22 years.
