Mr. Connolly was owner and operator of Connolly Radio and TV, retiring in 1980. He was a member of St. Aloysius Church and a life member of DAV Hall Hagler Chapter 15. He was a World War II Navy veteran who served on the USS Repose and the USS Helena. He was awarded the Asiatic-Pacific Medal, American Area Medal, World War II Victory Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.
Surviving are his wife, Edie; three sons; daughter; seven grandchildren; brother; three sisters.
Services at St. Aloysius Church, with the Rev. James O'Shea officiating. Burial in Camp Butler National Cemetery.
