Anne E. (Meyer) Connor, a retired LPN and world traveler, died on Monday June 14, 2010 surrounded by her loving family at her home in North Weymouth. She was 81 years of age. Born in South Boston, she had lived in Weymouth most of her life, but graduated from Hanover High School 65 years ago where she had lived briefly. Anne worked in the nursery at South Shore Hospital as an LPN until her retirement in 1970. She was an avid golfer and gardener. She enjoyed many ocean cruises including a world cruise with her husband of 63 years, retired Weymouth Fire Chief, James F. Connor, Sr. Beloved mother of James F. Connor, Jr of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Patricia Lenehan of Towson, MD, V. Elizabeth DeNapoli of Newtown Sq, PA and Annemarie Demarkles of North Weymouth. Loving sister of Mary C. Haponski of St. Marys, GA. Proud grandmother of Patrick, Timothy, Maureen and Brian Lenehan, Allison Schill, Alanna Morris, Meghan Connor, Charles and Eileen Demarkles and great-grandmother of Connor Morris. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation in the NORTH WEYMOUTH McDonald Funeral Home at 40 Sea St on Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. Funeral Mass to follow in the St. Jeromes Church at 9:00 and burial at the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth.
