Mrs. Anna M. (McGovern) Connor of Houston, Texas, formerly of Waltham died Wednesday November 23, 2005 at the Pointe Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Webster, Texas. She was 93.
Born in Lowell, a daughter of the late James and Mary (Gaffney) McGovern, she lived in Waltham for most of her life before moving to Texas in 1995. Mrs. Connor was a graduate of Saint Mary's High School. For many years she was an office manager for the Prudential Insurance Co. in Waltham. Mrs. Connor was also employed as a jewel setter for the Raytheon Company in Newton, and for the R.H. Bird Company in Waltham.
She was the wife of the late Marcus M. Connor and sister of the late James, Thomas and John McGovern.
She leaves her daughter and her husband; two brothers; one sister; one granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
