Age 75, Susie served as an invaluable business advisor to her husband, the late R. Craig Allison, a noted serial entrepreneur, who founded among other enterprises UTEK Inc., and Tollgrade Communications Inc. In addition to being the matriarch of a loving Erie family, Susie Allison was an active local philanthropist who supported many charities. Mrs. Allison graduated from Academy High School in 1958 and attended Edinboro State College.
In addition to her three grandchildren, she is survived by sons Fr. Michael Allison, R. Craig Allison, Jr., of Erie, and Christian L. Allison of Pittsburgh; daughters-in-law Gina (Fanzini) Allison and Jane K. France; her extended family; and a group of close friends in Erie.
Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
