Mr. Cook died Tuesday at his residence, 8212 S.W. Oak drive, after a short illness. He was born October 1, 1894, in St. James, Minn.
He was a member of Portland Lodge No. 142, BPOE. For the past five years he worked for the Oregon state motor vehicle department. He served in World Wars I and II.
Survivors include the widow, Elsie B.; a daughter, Mary Oberg, The Dalles; two brothers, Frank, Rochester, Minn., and Richard, Redwood Falls, Minn.; a sister Gertrude Cook, Washington, D. C. and two grandchildren.
