She was born in LeRoy, Colorado to Harry August and Ida Esther Marks Cook. She married Dale Howland Andersen in Gardner on June 27, 1943. He survives.
She is also survived by four daughters, Sharon (Don Wallen) Halpin, Cornell; Diane (Dale) Seabert, Dwight; Janell (Bill) Satler, Marseilles and Tammi (Kevin) Stone, Tinley Park; a daughter-in-law, Michaela Andersen, Chandler, Arizona; two sisters, Velma Richards, Arvada, Colorado and Eleanor Carlson, Sterling, Colorado; 13 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Dennis Dale Andersen; a son-in-law, Daniel Omer Halpin and brothers, Lester Cook, Herb Cook, Arlo Cook and Elmo Cook.
