Born on August 18, 1918, in Harrisburg, to the late Robert and Leah (Lusk) Cook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Harry (Buzzy) Baer and a sister, Virginia (Tib) Hanawalt.
Miraim graduated from William Penn High School, Harrisburg; and retired from AT&T as a telephone operator. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She also loved the pleasures of her porch, her flower and vegetable gardens and watching the various birds play in her homemade birdbath. She was an avid Penn State football fan and had a passion for Volkswagen Beetles.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2006 at 9: 30 a.m., in the Chapel of Peace, Rolling Green Cemetery, 1811 Carlisle Road, Camp Hill.
