Mrs. E. R. Baker, an estimable Green township lady, died on the old family homestead, near Cookport, yesterday morning at 7:30. Her funeral will be held tomorrow, when the interment will be made in East Mahoning graveyard, where the remains of her husband were laid to rest some years ago. Mrs. Baker's maiden name was Cook. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. William Cook, early Green township settlers.

On February 23, 1843 she united in marriage with George Baker, from which union 10 children resulted, all of whom are living, and all are residents of Indiana county but one, Levi, of Clearfield county. Those who reside in Indiana county are Hezekiah, Mrs. Mary C. Buterbaugh and James H., of Dixonville; Mrs. Jane Learn, G. H. and Mrs. George McCullough, of Cookport; S. F. of Purchase Line; Mrs. I. M. Buterbaugh of Brushvalley and P. N. Baker, of Indiana. Mrs. Baker was aged 69 years.
