It was around this time that Margo was honored with the title of becoming a debutant and was also voted the "Prettiest Girl" in San DIego, which was definitely well deserved, as she was an absolute beauty.
On December 16, 1967 Margo married Edward Lee Parks two sons were born to this union, Kenneth Joseph and David Lee Parks. As the years passed and as boys were getting older Margo and Eddie were blessed with their precious baby, Sophia.
The family immediately fell in love with Sophia and knew that she fit prefectly within their family. Margo graduated from San Diego State Universitly with her Bachelor of Arts Degree and later with a Master's Degree in Counseling Education.
Margo also taugh in the Master's Program at San Diego State University and was both a facilitator and mentor for many incoming students. Ready to join the work force, Margo was a District Counselor for San DIego Unified School District. She began at St. Augustine High School and throughout her extended career worked at a multitude of schools; including, Freese, Fulton and Kennedy Elementary, always an integral part of each school she served.
