Also survived by 12 grandchildren, Bridget Ansel, Kristie, John, Jim, and Michael Claudius, Wyatt Ansel, David, Ryan, and Drew Ansel, Ellen, Molly, and Owen Pighini. In addition to her immediate family, she is survived by one sister, Marion Cooney Sandman and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Marion (Aubrey) Cooney, and 2 brothers, William and John.
A Mass celebrating her life was held on December 15th at Our Mother of Consolation Church (Chestnut Hill), presided over by Rev. Robert Aubrey.
