Mrs. Bertha Cooper
Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Cooper, aged 84, widow of Frank Cooper were held on Saturday, February 23 at 2 p.m. at the Tillapaugh Funeral Home with the Rev. J. Paul McLaughlin, pastor of the Milford Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Milford Cemetery later.
Mrs. Cooper died Tuesday at the Bliss Nursing Home in Milford. She was born April 10, 1873, daughter of William and Louise (Pride) VanBuskirk. She married Frank Cooper on January 19, 1898. he died may 15, 1945. She had been a resident of Milford since 1905. She was a member of the Milford Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by two sons, George of Milford and Herbert, Carlisle, Pa.; two grandsons and four great grandchildren.
