Dorethia (Cooper) Baker passed away Sunday, January 24, 2010 at St. Peters University Hospital, New Brunswick.
Mrs. Baker was 80 years of age.
Born in Georgetown, South Carolina she moved to East Brunswick 40 years ago.

Mrs. Baker was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Baker who died in 1980, her son Wade S. Baker who died in 2005 and her two brothers Andy Cooper and Lee Vernon Carr.

Dorethia is survived by her son Neal Baker and his wife Luciana Curti of New York, NY, her daughter Kelley Baker and her husband Michael Fisher of Willingboro, her sister Minister Aarona Cooper of Linden, and her grandson Robert Baker.
She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Funi Norris and her children Nathan and Tonia of Jamesburg, and one nephew Aaron Browne and many beloved friends.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens, 771 Somerset Street in Somerset.
Burial will be at the Flushing Cemetery in Flushing, New York.
