Gretchen Corbett Trommald
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, 2004, in River View Cemetery chapel for Gretchen Corbett Trommald, who died Oct. 10 at age 91.
Gretchen Corbett was born Nov. 2, 1912, in Portland, where she lived all her life. She graduated from Catlin School and was a homemaker. In 1934, she married Dr. John P.; he died in 1992.
Survivors include her son, Elliott C.; daughter, Susan Trommald Roff; sisters, Lesley Forster, Alta Thomas and Lucy Marlitt; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Her son John P. died in 2000; and her son Peter G. died in 2003.
