1st married to the late Charlie Lafayette Williams in 1933.
In 2002 at the age of 86, having been single for over forty years, she married Cleo Bates of Texarkana, AR who died in 2008.
She was the oldest member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Nashville, having been a member there for over fifty years.
Survived by her children, Charles E. Williams of Dickinson, TX;
Joe C. Williams of Stuttgart; Martha J. Hinds of Highland-Stillmeadow, Nashville; Don W. Williams of Lake Jackson and by her sister Mary Alice Shelton of Denver, CO; 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren.
