Pearl Couzins, age 91, beloved wife of the late James H. Couzins of Stratford, died Monday, August 22, 2005, at Lord Chamberlain Health Care Center, Stratford.
Born in Tuskeegee, Ala., January 29, 1914, daughter of the late Ed and Henrietta Alexander, Pearl resided in Stratford for more than 50 years. She was a retired LPN working at the West Haven Veterans Administration Hospital.
Survivors include a son, Robert Hunter of California; three grandchildren, Kim, Donna and Robert Hunter; and two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Pearl was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters.
Interment in Union Cemetery, Stratford.
