Doris Catherine Cowdery Blake, 70, of Belpre, passed away Friday, October 15, 2010 at Marietta Care & Rehab. She was born October 1, 1940 in Coolville, OH, the daughter of the late Harold Dutton and Helen M (Barringer) Cowdery.
She is survived by two daughters, Lora DeMent and Tami Rhodes; a brother, Gary Cowdery; and four grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Maywood Blake, in 1980; three brothers; and a sister.
Graveside services will be held at 2 pm Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Eden Cemetery in Reedsville, OH. There will be no visitation.
