Barbara Geuy Atkinson went to be with the Lord on Sept.3,2009.She was born Sept.13,1931,to Floyd and Leah Cox in Sidney.
Barbara graduated from Quincy High School in 1949 and Elkhart Business unveriyy in 1950.she retired from LeRoi Division of Dresser Industries in 1990.
Barbara was a member of Sidney First United Methodist Church where she led her Sunday school class,sang in choir and participated in Prayer SHAWL MINISTRY.THE EMMAUS COMMUNITY AND JOSHUA TEAMS,BARBARA ALSO SERVED AS A SECRETARY OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE ALPHA COMMUNTY CENTER.
Barbara lived a life of selfless devotion to family Community and Church.Consistent with her desire to serve and teach.she chose to donate her body to Wright State Uriversity Medical School.
