REBA (BUNNIE) CRAFT SMITH, 86, of Lexington, died Thursday, November 27, 2003 in the Borden Wellness and Health Center at Kendal. She was born March 28, 1917, the daughter of George Ortho and Mary Myrtle Wilhelm Craft. Reba was a member of the Manly Memorial Baptist Church. She was an LPN graduate from Springfield General Hospital School of Nursing in Skysville, Maryland and a graduate from the school of Cosmetology in Richmond, VA. Reba was a volunteer for the Stonewall Jackson Hospital Auxiliary for many years, contributing 4,500 hours.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Harold, of 57 years and two sisters, Mrs. Jeanette C. Ewing and Mrs. Beatrice C. Goodbar, both of Lexington, VA. and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2p.m. Sunday at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with Dr. J. Michael Wilkins officiating. Burial will follow in the New Monmouth Presbyterian Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to Manly Memorial Baptist Church Land Fund, 202 S. Main Street, Lexington, VA. 24450. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5p.m. Saturday at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
