Nora Virginia Clinton, 84, of Parkersburg, passed away on August 10. She is the daughter of the late Cofer and Alva Craig of Edgelawn. Virginia was happily married to Richard Louis Clinton for thirty-five years until his death in 1984.

Virginia is survived by her children, Jenny (Gabe) Artigas of Washington State, Donna Davis of Parkersburg, Rick Clinton (Angie) of Boaz and Jan (Dave) Allen of Parkersburg. She has 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren as well as her surviving sister Thelma (Gerald) Mathess of Parkersburg.

Virginia was a award winning quilter with her work shown in Red Book Magazine. "The only way to get one of my quilts is to be in the family" she often said. She taught her granddaughter Jesse Cottrell to quilt at a young age, a family tradition which Jesse continues. Virginia loved flower gardens and created many beautiful flower beds. Her daughters Jenny and Jan followed in her footsteps. She was also an avid reader, a joy that her daughter Donna acquired. Virginia cherished the companionship of her son Rick and especially enjoyed watching their favorite television programs together.

Services for Virginia will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm., at St. John's United Methodist Church in Vienna with Reverend John Lowther officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens alongside her husband.
