Ruth C. Byrnside, 78, of Scott Depot, W.Va., died Friday, June 29, 2001, at home after a long illness.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother and a member of Cross Lanes United Methodist Church.
Surviving: mother, Olive Craig of Scott Depot; husband, Harry O. Byrnside of Scott Depot; son, Denny Byrnside, and wife, Marilyn, of Cross Lanes, W.Va.; daughter, Judy Cobble, and husband, George, of Eleanor, W.Va.; brother, Harold W. Craig of Winfield, W.Va.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Service will be Sunday, July 1, 2001, at 2 p.m. at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home, Cross Lanes, with the Rev. Aslam Barkat officiating. Burial will be in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
