She was born Nov. 29, 1936, in Ellsworth, the daughter of Frank and Emily Vopat Spousta.
She married Lloyd Cranston on July 3, 1954. He preceded her in death in 1980.
A lifetime Ellsworth resident, she was a cook at Good Samaritan Center, St. Francis Boys Home and Dairy Queen. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Ellsworth.
Survivors include sons, David and Kevin, both of Ellsworth, and Jeff of Spring, Texas; daughters, Barbara Willson of Wilson and Karen Bartone of Great Bend; one sister, Mary Jane Haga of Abilene; 16 grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and six stepgreat-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Kim Smith, in 2003.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. today (Monday, Dec. 8) at Parsons Funeral Home, Ells-worth. Pastor Nathan Loudon presided. Burial was in Ellsworth Memorial Cemetery.
