Mrs. J. Crimmins, Former Montana, Dies in Los Angeles

FORSYTH, MT. --Oct. 30 --- Mrs. Jerimiah Crimmins, 81, former resident of Montana, died today at Los Angeles, friends here were informed.

She was born at Rome, N.Y., April 12, 1854.
Daughter of Michael and Bridget Dillon Coniff.

She married Jeremiah Crimmins on Sept. 19, 1873.

In 1877 Crimmins came to Montana and engaged in the blacksmith business at what now is a ghost town near Custer.

Five years later he returned to New York and brought his wife, son, and daughter to this state.

The family moved to Forsyth in 1891, and Crimmins became postmaster.

Mrs. Crimmins spent the last year in California with her daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Myers., Mrs. Frank Levi of Colstrip, MT.
She is survived by another daughter Mrs. Frank Levi of Colstrip, MT.

Her son William died here in 1900 and her husband died at Forsyth in 1927.
