Her parents were Col. John Jordan Harris II and Anne Obediance Turpin. She married Maj. John Crittenden 21 Aug 1783 in Powhatan County, Virginia. Her husband was given a Kentucky land grant for his honorable service during the American Revolution and they settled near Versailles. John was killed by a falling tree and he was buried somewhere on their property. The actual site of the grave is now unknown.
