Matilda was my 3rd Great Grand Aunt. She was the daughter of Sophia Chapman Crocker Smith and Joshua Crocker. Matildas sister, Almira, was my 3rd Great Grandmother.
Matilda married Aaron Chapman in West Stockbridge, Massachusetts on November 14, 1871. Matilda died of malnutrition & Anaemia. No marker for her found on her grave site.
