Eileen C. Bale, 81, passed away August 1, 2004 surrounded by her loving family at the St. Lucie Medical Center, Port St. Lucie, Fla. She was predeced in death by her mother, Helen Falardeau; father, Joseph Cronin; and brother, Edward Cronin. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Arthur "Bud" Bale; sons and daughters-in-law, William and JoAnn, Manasquan, N.J., Terrance and Evelyn, Apalachin, N.Y., Michael and Rita, Belleair Bluffs, Fla.; brother-in-law, John; and sister-in-law, Betty Lou Bale, Sarasota, Fla., sister-in-law, Barbara VanDermark, Johnson City; and brother-in-law, Robert Lauko, Vestal, N.Y.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. During WWII, she worked at IBM Endicott, N.Y. After the war she devoted her entire life to taking care of her family. She was an avid Bridge player and golfer. She was a member of the Binghamton Monday Afternoon Club, belonged to the Binghamton Country Club and Club Med, Port St. Lucie, Fla. She was a member of the Holy Family RC Church, Port St. Lucie, Fla., and St. Vincent DePaul RC Church, Vestal, N.Y.
Visitation will be at St. Vincent DePaul RC Church at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 14, 2004, with a Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the charity of your choice. .
