Norma Ruth Adkisson
Helena-Funeral service for Norma Adkisson will be Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Ringwood First Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Good Hope Cemetery near Helena. Viewing will be Tuesday 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. with family present 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Norma Ruth Adkisson was born near Helena on November 3, 1931, the daughter of Jess and Ruby Clark Cronin. She graduated from Helena High School and had lived in the Helena-Ringwood area all during her lifetime. Norma and Lewis "Bus" Adkisson were married November 27, 1949 at Ringwood. She had worked at St. Mary's Hospital as a Nurses Aide for a number of years. She had also had been a cafeteria cook. She belonged to the Helena Jr. Homemakers and was a member of First Baptist Church in Ringwood where she helped with Bible School and made cookies to share with those who attended Bible School.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bus; her parents, Jess and Ruby Clark Cronin and a daughter, Sharon Ruth Adkisson.

Norma is survived by her children, Freda Jo Adkisson and Connie Lou Adkisson Buffalohead and husband, Kenneth Pat; grandchildren, Jennifer Sue Fishback and husband, Rob, Shadlow Wayne Buffalohead and Kendal Lewis Buffalohead and girlfriend, Tashina Williams; great grandchildren, Miranda Ruth Fishback, Kolton Ray Fishback, Skylar Kay Fishback, Shadlow Wayne Buffalohead II, Jeramiah Allen Buffalohead and Micah Trey Buffalohead; great-great grandchildren, Rayne Nycole Taylor, Jocelyn RaeLee Taylor and new baby to be, Kaydn Lewis Taylor; one brother, Roger Cronin and wife, Lael; two sisters, Carole Shepard and Ruby Eileen Capps and husband, Dennis; numerous other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to Ringwood First Baptist Church through the funeral home.
