Douglas Wallin Cronin, 66, passed away peacefully Jan. 25, 2011 at a local hospital. Mr. Cronin was born April 3, 1944 in Jacksonville, Fla. He served our country proudly in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Cronin was an oil tester for Texaco/Shell until his retirement. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be deeply missed. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 43 years, Donna Cronin; two sons, Michael and Sean Cronin; mother, Winifred Cronin; a sister, Susan Thacker and husband James; and three grandchildren, Tyler, Desi and Zachery Cronin. A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 4, at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Rosewood Memorial Park at a later date.
