DIED: At LaGrange, in the county of Essex on Monday the 17th day of Oct. 1842, in the 44th year of her age, Mrs. Mary Ann Bray, consort of Capt. Winter Bray. This mysterious dispensation of Providence has deprived society of one of its brightest ornaments, the poor of a friend, her servants of a kind mistress, the church of one of its brightest lights, her husband of his "earthly all' ... She was married as the first wife of Capt. Winter Bray by bond 20 NOV 1809 in Essex County. Mary Ann died childless.
