Jesse W. Collom died at his home in this city Wednesday, Dec. 23, at 6:30 p.m. He was a retired railroad brakeman and had moved to Waverly three months ago from Oak Lawn.
Deceased was born in Little Rock, Ark., August 6, 1891, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Collom.
He was married in 1914 to Gertrude Klinke, of Chicago, and she is his only survivor.
He was a member of the William McKinley Lodge A. F. & A. M. , of Chicago; the Columbia Commandery No. 63 of Chicago and the Medinah Temple Shrine of Chicago.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Neece Funeral Home, Rev. Robert Kater, pastor of the Baptist Church officiating.
Burial was in East Cemetery.
