Mrs. Catherine Cumming, 77, of 165 East Broad street, died yesterday morning at Muhlenberg Hospital, Plainfield, after a long illness.
Born in Perthshire, Scotland, she came to this country in 1923 and has lived in Westfield ever since. She made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson of the East Broad street address. She was the wife of the late James Cumming.
Besides her daughter, Mrs. Cumtning is survived by a son, James Cumming of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Gray's Funeral Home tomorrow at 2 p.m. Rev. Dr. William K. McKinney, minister emeritus of the Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
