Benjamin Bentley Cunningham was born on May 11, 1979 in Birmingham, Alabama. He graduated from Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, attended Auburn University, worked passionately with his father as the Production Control Manager at Insul-Coustic, Corp., and attended Aldersgate United Methodist Church.

Ben enjoyed reading, helping his parents in the garden, archery, hockey, fundraising for and participating in the Walk for Autism, and working with Don Wismer on the Connexion at Aldersgate.

Ben was active in Scouting going through Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and attained the rank of Life Scout and was only one badge away from Eagle Scout before the family made a major move. Ben and his dad are contributors to "Any Soldier.com." They send whatever needs and gifts that the soldiers request.

At 29, Ben, then living in Fort Wayne, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord on Memorial Day, May 26, 2008.

He was the son of Kirkland W. Cunningham and Naomi Bentley Cunningham, dedicated brother to Wade Kirkland Cunningham, Jr. and Anna, and devoted "Unky Ben" to niece, Naomi Ann. He was the grandson of the late Alex & Lula Bentley, Penelope & the late Russell Cunningham Jr. Other survivors are Betty & Walter Sprinkle, Kay Maynard, Peggy Collins, Charlotte & Jim Hall, John & Barbara Bentley, Mark & Earlena Bentley, and Russell & Ellen Cunningham.
