He was a native of Furman, attended Auburn University, retired from U.S. Steel, member of Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church administrative board, The Club, and Men's Club. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Elmwood Chapel, with burial in Elmwood. Survivors: wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Rozelle Cunningham; son, Francis Leslie Cunningham Jr., Huntsville.
