Dorothy Louise Cunningham Brumfield, age 86, was born May 1, 1927, in Albany, Athens County, Ohio, to Maurice Sanford and Bess Seth Cunningham. She lived in various places because her father was a Baptist minister. In 1952, she moved with her family to Gadsden. She was employed for nearly 30 years by Baptist Memorial Hospital in Gadsden, and a member of Glencoe Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a caring mother, loving "Granny" to her grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Harold and Jack Cunningham. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Jim) Tillison; son, Bob (Becky) Brumfield; grandchildren, other family.
