COLUMBIA, S.C. - Mrs. Queene Victoria Brookshire. 82, of 417 Etiwan Ave., Columbia, formerly of Walker County, Ala., died Monday in Columbia. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home in Huntsville, Ala., with Dr. F. Willis Vickery and the Rev. Mac Buttram officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Brookshire was a graduate of Alabama College for Women in Montevallo. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Colonial Dames and Trinity Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Josef O. Brookshire and Daniel King Brookshire, both of Columbia; and a sister, Mary Elizabeth Stephenson of Jasper, Ala.
Visitation will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
