Nicola Curia
SAN CARLOS - Nicola Curia, 80, prominently identified in Masonic circles here, succumbed to short illness yesterday at his home, 1356 Walnut St.
Mr. Curia was formerly the owner of the Royal Barber Shop in San Carlos, retiring five years ago. He had resided in San Carlos for 11 years, coming from San Francisco.
Mr. Curia was a member of San Carlos Lodge 690, F&AM, and of san Carlos Chapter 551, Order of Eastern Star.
He leaves his widow, Freda Curia, at the family home; also two sons, Dr. G. D. Curia of Burlingame and Joseph Curia of San Carlos.
A brother, Leonard Curia of San Jose, and six grandchildren also survive him.
Masonic funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 8 p.m. in the White Oaks Chapel, 1696 El Camino Real.
Interment is to be private.
