NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. -- Jean (Roberts) Curley, 93, of New Port Richey, Fla., formerly of West Palm Beach and Newton, died Wednesday, April 5, 2006, in New Port Richey.
She was the wife of the late Edward M. Curley.
Born in Boston, she was active as a life member of Hadassah and a World War 11 War Bonds volunteer.
She leaves her children, Gerald M. Curley and his wife, Maria, of Newport Richey and Steven M. Curley and his wife, Bryna, of Holliston; her grandchildren, Brad Curley and his wife, Karen, David Curley and his wife, Tina, and Joy, Marla and Richard Curley; her great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Isaac and Molly Curley; and her siblings, Joe Roberts of Brookline and Rose Cohen of Ohio.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, April 9, at 10 a.m., at the Shepatovka Cemetery, 776 Baker St., West Roxbury.
Memorial observance will be held at the home of Steven and Bryna Curley following services on Sunday until 8 p.m., and on Monday, April 10, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Instead of flowers, remembrances may be made to West End House Boys and Girls Club, 105 Allston St., Boston, MA 02135; or Hadassah, 2001 Beacon St. Brookline, MA 02446.
Funeral arrangements are by Brezniak-Rodman Funeral Directors in Newton.
