She was born May 20, 1919, in Rochester, N.Y., and came to Sarasota 24 years ago from Arlington, Va. She was a past president of National Council of Jewish Women in Northern Virginia and a volunteer with the Jewish Federation.
Survivors include daughters Nancy Miller of Manhattan Beach, Calif., and Deborah Purcell of Santa Rosa, Calif.; a son, David S. Harvis of Columbia, Md.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the clubhouse of Trevini Apartments. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ocean Futures Society, 324 Chapala St., Santa Barbara, CA 93101; or to The HIPPY, 2300 Janie Poe Dr., Sarasota, FL 34234.
